About the artist

Keith studied at the London College of Printing and
practiced as a graphic designer, working in
advertising and publishing for forty years.

Enrolling as a mature student, graduating in 1994
from West Surrey College of Art and Design
with a BA (Hons) Degree in Fine Art.

The move to the Rutland/Leicestershire borders
in 2007 has resulted in a new and more dynamic
approach to his landscapes.

Sketches made on the spot and remembered images
act as a catalyst to his works, capturing atmosphere
and energy of the landscape.
By using a low visual point and a flat perspective
your eye is directed from the foreground into
the painting, parts of which are sharp and
well defined, others more defused.
Some of his work borders on the
abstract, others are intensely realistic.
